STM'27 Eigler Award
for outstanding doctoral research

Welcome to the prestigious Eigler Award, a recognition that celebrates outstanding doctoral research and innovative contributions in the field of scanning probe microscopy. We want to honor PhD candidates and recent graduates who have demonstrated exceptional academic merit, impactful research, and the potential to advance their discipline.

The Eigler Award is an early-career research award that is awarded every two years in honor of Donald M. Eigler. The Eigler Award is administered by APS GIMS, the Topical Group on Instrument and Measurement Science.
